We had our family favorite cheese and potato pie for tea last night with fish fingers, and Joseph had a big bowl of cheesy mash too which he loved! He couldn’t find a big enough spoon so he decided on two just in case….
Just in case you don’t know how to make cheese and potato pie…..
Peel, chop, boil and then mash some potatoes (adding butter and milk as required). Stir in some grated cheese to taste- depends on how cheesy you like it, I find mature cheddar works best, and season (we left this step out so Joe could have some) Put the cheesy mash in an oven proof dish, sprinkle some more grated cheese on top and put in the oven for around 30- 40 mins. The top should be crispy and the soft gooey cheese mash will be underneath. Serve with baked beans, tomato sauce and fish fingers and wallah! Best meal EVER!
