Inspiration Wednesday: Dustin Yellin

Hi, I haven’t done an inspiration Wednesday post for a while but I had to share this great artist I recently heard of called Dustin Yellin.

I found him through this video on Youtube when I was looking at videos about art and creativity. GIve it a watch- his work is amazing.

Yellin is best known for his art works that are on a huge scale, painted on layers and layers of glass. Each layer is full of intricate detail but they all form together to create a single image.

He now runs the “Pioneer works” which is a non profit organisation that enables people from multi disciplines to work together and provides a wonderful exhibition space.

“After an extensive renovation, the facility now houses artist studios, exhibition and performance spaces, a science lab, a recording studio, and other spaces as needs arise. The floor plan is open and flexible, encouraging a transparent, collaborative environment where international artists, musicians, scientists and educators can co-exist and create together.”

You can find out more about Dustin Yellin and the pioneer works HERE.

Here’s some of his work to whet your appetite!
